CCIR is an abbreviation of Committee Consultative International Radiocommunications. It is commonly used as a shorthand to refer to the analog video signal used for monochrome security cameras in most of Europe, Australia and the Middle East. Breifly, the specification is for 625 lines at 50Hz.

The CCIR organiztion is now known as the ITU.
